Who We Are
Our business began in 1983 as Electronics for Life Support, Inc. We identified a specific need to provide ECG telemetry systems and fitness equipment to cardiac rehab programs in the NJ, NY and PA area. Our business name became Cardiopulmonary Fitness. Over the following years we became a national and regional distributor for new cardiac rehab telemetry manufacturers along with offering full repair services. Our shop is the only independent service organization that has the equipment and knowledge to repair RF components from ScottCare, LSI and Quinton/Mortara. In 2018, fitness and rehab equipment sales and repairs were discontinued and our business name was updated to CPR Telemetry Shop. We expanded our services in providing nationwide repairs, exchanges, loaners and rentals of cardiac and pulmonary rehab telemetry transmitters and central station components. We maintain a large inventory of parts and components and offer quick 24 to 48 hr repair and return shipping. Our pricing is 60 to 80% lower than manufacturer's pricing, offering a very significant cost savings to our customers.
Repair, Refurbish, Reuse, Recycle
Historically, the medical device industry places a five to seven year life cycle on medical equipment and then claims obsolescence and discontinues support for their products so they can market new, higher priced equipment. Along with the pharma industry, medical device manufacturers continue to drive health care costs higher and higher and we all end up paying for it. Perfectly good functioning medical equipment is removed from service and replaced with more expensive equipment with little additional benefit. Our business model is to repair and refurbish components at a very low cost, saving customers the very high cost of replacement. We even maintain telemetry system that are over twenty years old. When repair parts are no longer available, we disassemble and bring electronic circuit boards and hard drives to a certified technology recycling center to keep this hazardous material out of landfills.

We are one of the very few service providers that has the knowledge and experience to repair RF components. Transmitters and receivers are repaired and refurbished at 60 to 80% lower cost than manufacturer's charges. Even case components can be replaced.

ScottCare, Life Systems International (LSI), Life Sensing Instrument (LSI), Quinton, Mortara, Cardiac Science and Welch Allyn telemetry transmitters, receivers, central station, etc. are all repaired and refurbished by CPR Telemetry Shop. We even repair older, obsolete telemetry systems and components like Quinton Q-Tel and ScottCare Tele-Rehab analog components. Central station components like motherboards, power supplies, storage drives, receiver cards and network components are all in stock for quick shipping.
